INCIDENT:  Fraud

DATE / TIME:  9/26/17 at 1722 hrs

LOCATION:  Queenstown Premium Outlets (Coach, Guess and Old Navy) 400 Blk of Outlet Center Dr, in Queenstown

SUSPECT:  African American, Male, operating a black Chevrolet Corvette bearing Maryland registration 6CE7968

DETAILS:  Deputies were dispatched to a report of a counterfeit $100 dollar bill being passed at the Coach store at the Queenstown Premium Outlets.  Upon arrival, contact was made with on-site security.  They reported that the same suspect also passed counterfeit $100 dollar bills at the Guess and Old Navy stores.  A tag number from the suspect vehicle was obtained and a MVA search revealed that the vehicle was registered in Howard County.  A check of the listed registered owner’s addresses revealed negative results.  Neither the vehicle nor the suspect was located there.  After passing the bills, the suspect was able to obtain a total of $85 dollars’ worth of merchandise and $215 dollars in cash.  This investigation is ongoing.

INCIDENT:  Theft: Less than $1,000

DATE / TIME:  9/26/17 at 1805 hrs

LOCATION:  300 Blk of Baxter Rd in Sudlersville

SUSPECT:  White male operating an ATV.  NFD

DETAILS:  Deputies were dispatched to a report of a past theft.  The victim reported that two of his Cabela Outfitter 14 megapixel infrared trail cameras were stolen.  The property is valued to be worth $500 dollars.  The theft occurred between September 21st and September 23rd.  The victim reported while checking the remaining trail cameras that were on his property, the cameras captured an image of an unknown white male riding an ATV.

INCIDENT: CDS Possession and Medical Emergency

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:  09/22/2017 @ 1322 hrs.

LOCATION:   Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office 505 Railroad Avenue Centreville, MD

VICTIM:  State of Maryland

ARRESTED: Robert Franklin Woods, Jr. 59 year old male from Ocean City, MD

CHARGES: Possession of a Crystal Methamphetamine

DISPOSITION: Released on personal recognizance

NARRATIVE: 1/Sgt. Jones responded to the Ocean City Police Department on 09/22/2017 to pick up a person wanted for Failure To Appear in the Circuit Court for Queen Anne’s County. 1/Sgt. Jones then transported that person from Ocean City to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office. Once at the Sheriff’s Office, a thorough search of the defendant’s property (book bag) was conducted. That search revealed a bag of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine concealed inside of a cigarette pack. Once the suspected drugs were discovered, the defendant became extremely agitated, and stated that he wanted to harm himself. He was subsequently transported to the Shore Medical Center at Easton for evaluation. The defendant was later released from medical care, and was held at the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center pending a bail review hearing on 09/25/2017. The defendant completed his bail review on 09/25/2017 and was released on the FTA warrant after posting a bond. The defendant was then served an arrest warrant charging him with the possession of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine. The defendant was taken to a District Court Commissioner for his initial appearance, and was released on his own recognizance.
