Incident: Search and Seizure Warrant

Suspects: Donald Rayfield Handy, A/A/M, dob 01/09/52

CDS Seized: 25.9 grams suspected heroin

113 grams suspected powdered cocaine

Currency seized: $5666.00

Vehicles seized: 2013 BMW 328 i

2013 Hyundai Sonata

Synopsis: On April 12, 2018 at approximately 1030 hours members of the Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force served a knock and announce search and seizure warrant on Donald Handy and his residence at 200 Grasonville Cemetery Road Grasonville, MD. Entry was made through an unlocked door.

A search of Handy, his residence and vehicles revealed 25.9 grams of suspected heroin, 113 grams of suspected powdered cocaine, working digital scales, $5,666.00 in U.S. currency, packaging materials and mail to Handy at the residence. Investigation had revealed that Handy had been distributing CDS from his vehicles and they were also seized.

Donald Handy, who has a previous criminal history for PWID CDS, CDS Possession, Firearms Possession and assault was charged with Possession of Cocaine with the intent to distribute, Possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and possession of paraphernalia. He is waiting to be seen by the District Court Commissioner at this time.  We will continue to hunt down the drug dealers in our community, we will not tolerate anyone who sells or distributes drugs. We will continue to work with all of our allied agencies to arrest these individuals.” added Sheriff Hofmann.
