PRESS RELEASE

INCIDENT:                   Theft of Tag

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            04/10/18 10:10 pm

LOCATION:                 200 Block of Duke Street, Stevensville, MD

NARRATIVE:               Dfc. Pack responded to the 200 Block of Duke Street for a report of a stolen rear tag off of a vehicle. Upon his arrival at the scene, he spoke with the complainant about the call. The complainant advised that on April 8, 2018 at approximately 5:45 pm, he noticed the rear tag on his 2014 Range Rover was missing but the front tag was still on the vehicle. On 04/10/18 the complainant went to the MVA and got a new set of tags for the vehicle and later called the Sheriff’s Office to report the theft. The missing rear tag was entered into the national database as being stolen. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County.

INCIDENT:                   Malicious Destruction of Property

DATE AND TIME REPORTED:            04/10/18 11:03 pm

LOCATION:     900 Block of Cloverfields Drive, Stevensville, MD

NARRATIVE:               Dfc. Pack responded to the 900 Block of Cloverfields Drive for a report of damaged property. Upon his arrival at the scene, he spoke with the complainant in reference to the call. She advised him that after leaving a board meeting for the Cloverfields Community earlier in the evening, the victim noticed several scratches on the 2014 Nissan Truck. The victim advised Dfc. Pack that when she exited the meeting she observed several people standing near the vehicle but she could not say for sure that they were the ones that caused the damage. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
