INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 5-7-2018 at approximately 1019 Am
LOCATION: Thrifty on Fifty Thrift Store located in Chester Md.
 
VICTIM: 53yo of Chester MD
 
DETAILS: On 5/7/2018 around 10 am deputies responded for a theft of a vehicle tag. The victim stated he got a flat tire on his vehicle and left it in the area of the Thrifty and Fifty Thrift store. The victim stated he left his vehicle there over the weekend and when he went back to pick up his vehicle he noticed that his rear tag was missing. It is not known who took the tag off of the vehicle.
 
Anyone with information that would assist with this investigation is asked to make contact with DFC. Jarrett at the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff.

DETAILS: Dep Pack responded to the above area for a report of a malicious destruction of property. The victim reported that her mailbox was damaged sometime between the evening of 5/5/18 and the morning of 5/6/18. No witnesses or suspects have been identified. INCIDENT: Civil Citation (Possession of CDS: Marijuana Less than 10 grams

DETAILS: Deputies responded to the area of the 100 Blk of Hogue Rd for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was described as a white passenger car and it appeared to be occupied. Just prior to the police arriving on scene, the vehicle attempted to leave the area. The vehicle was spotted by DFC Ahearn and the vehicle immediately sped off and a passenger fled from the vehicle. DFC Ahearn was able to catch up to the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. An odor of marijuana was detected emitting from the vehicle and the occupants were removed. DFC Ahearn’s investigation led him to the identity of the third suspect that fled. Contact was later made with the suspect at his home where he admitted to DFC Ahearn that he was the one who fled the vehicle. All three vehicle occupants were issued a civil citation for Possession of Marijuana (Less than 10grams). The driver was issued one traffic citation for failure to signal. All were released on signature.

INCIDENT: Stolen Motor Vehicle (Recovered)

LOCATION: 100 Blk of Dominion Rd (Exxon), Chester, MD 21619
VEHICLE: 2005 Lincoln, Town Car, White bearing Maryland tag “6DA5736”
VICTIM: Age 62 of Chester, MD
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the Exxon gas station for a theft of a motor vehicle that just occurred. Upon arrival Dep Pack made contact with the victim who reported the suspect got into his vehicle while it was parked with the keys in the ignition. The suspect fled the scene in the vehicle heading West on Route 18 (Main St). The victim immediately called the police from the gas station.
The victim reported his cell phone was still inside the vehicle. With the assistance of the phone provider, the victim’s cell phone was tracked down and located in the Annapolis area. The Anne Arundel County Police Department was contacted and the victim’s unoccupied vehicle was located shortly after in the area of Bretton View Rd. INCIDENT: Marijuana less than 10g
DATE / TIME: 05/08/2018 approximately 5:00PM
LOCATION: North Bound 301 at Rt. 544, Millington MD
SUSPECT: Matthew T. Holder, 18yo male of Elkton, MD
Gianna C. Ulmen, 19yo female of Elkton, MD
Brittany A. Holotanko, 27yo Female of North East, MD
DETAILS: Deputies were conducting patrol in the area of North Bound 301 at Rt. 300, Sudlersville MD. Deputies witnessed a black in color, 2015 Subaru Forester, bearing Maryland registration, going above the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, who was identified as Matthew T. Holder. Also, 2 passengers were located in the vehicle and identified as Gianna Ulmen, and Brittany Holotanko. Deputies smelled a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A Probable Cause search was completed which resulted with locating Marijuana less than 10g. Holder, Ulmen and Holotanko were cited on a civil citation for the Marijuana less than 10g and Holder was issued the appropriate citations for the speed violation.

INCIDENT: Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams
DATE AND TIME REPORTED: 05/08/18 11:22 pm
LOCATION: 3500 Block of Romancoke Rd in Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Dfc. Pack was working uniformed patrol in the 3500 Block of Romancoke Road when he observed a vehicle parked in a County Park after hours. He made contact with the occupants of the vehicle and was able to smell the odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of suspected Marijuana under ten grams. Both of the occupants were charged on civil citations and released on the scene.

LOCATION: Fey Rd. at Justin Berch Dr., Chestertown, MD
 
SUSPECT: Kaitlin N. LLoyd, 19yo female of Millington, MD
Kelsey E. Jones, 18yo female of Marydel, MD
Courtney C. Jones, 20yo female of Marydel, MD
Donald H. Peeples, 19yo male of Chestertown, MD
 
DETAILS: Deputies were in the area of Fey Rd and Longfellow Rd. Deputies witnessed a black in color, 2007 Saturn ion, bearing Delaware Temp tag, going above the posted speed limit. Also, a second vehicle was directly behind the Saturn, also doing above the posted speed limit. The second vehicle was described as a red in color, 1998 Honda civic, bearing Delaware registration. A traffic stop was initiated on both vehicles and contact was made with the driver of the Saturn, who was identified as Kaitlin N. Lloyd. A passenger was also in the Saturn and identified as Kelsey E. Jones. When contact was made with Kelsey, she handed over Marijuana less than 10g to Deputies. Kaitlin was issued the citations for the speed violation and Kelsey was given a Civil citation for Marijuana less than 10g.
Deputies then made contact with the second vehicle, previously identified as a Honda Civic. Upon approaching the vehicle, deputies could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. It was also stated that a 4yo male was unrestrained in a child seat. The driver was identified as Courtney C. Jones and the passenger in the Honda was identified as Donald H. Peeples. A Probable Cause search was completed which resulted with locating Marijuana less than 10g, and open alcohol containers. Both Courtney and Donald were cited on a civil citation for the Marijuana less than 10g and Donald was issued the appropriate civil citations for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. Courtney was also issued the appropriate citations for the speed violation.
 
Deputies also properly installed the child seat and instructed Courtney to always have the child restrained while driving.

INCIDENT: Controlled Dangerous Substance – Marijuana less than 10grams
DATE / TIME: 05/8/2018 approximately 1:20 Pm
LOCATION: Queen Generver Way Chester MD 21619
SUSPECT: Juvenile of Chester MD.
 
 
DETAILS: On 5-8-2018 Deputies responded to the area of Queen Generver Way located in Chester MD for a report of individuals sleeping inside of a car. Upon arrival deputies located two sub-jects that were sleeping inside of the car. Investigations revealed that one subject was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, marijuana less than ten grams. The juvenile was issued a juvenile civil citation and released to a parent.
