INCIDENT:          Vehicle Theft

DATE / TIME:     10/30/2013 @ 1207 Hours (Reported)

LOCATION:         1200 Block of Busic Church Road, Sudlersville

VICTIM:              Randy W. Gerben of Pasadena

 

NARRATIVE:       It was reported that the victim had two vehicles, a 1987 Chevrolet Dump Truck and a 1983 tan Ford F-250  parked on his property on Busic Church Road. A neighbor saw they were missing and contacted him. Victim stated no one had permission to move them. Neither truck was currently tagged. The vehicle were estimated to be worth $8000.

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported someone had shot his 2008 Jeep with yellow paint balls and that the gas cap had been tampered with.

LOCATION:         105 Clay Drive, Queenstown

VICTIM:              Royal Farms Store

 

NARRATIVE:       Cashier on duty at the store reported that after two white male customers had left the store, he noticed that a collection jar for John Hopkins Hospital donations was missing. The jar had an estimated $30.

LOCATION:         Sudlersville Park, Sudlersville

VICTIM:              QA County Parks & Recreation

 

NARRATIVE:       Parks & Rec reported finding a toilet paper holder destroyed in the ladies room at the Sudlersville park. Damages were estimated at $200.

LOCATION:         Prospect Bay Golf Course, Stevensville

VICTIM:              Prospect Bay Country Club

 

NARRATIVE:       Employee at the Golf Course reported finding the club’s John Deere Gator with front end damage and parked behind the shop. A check of the course resulted in finding tee markers and a flag stick missing from some of the holes. The gate to the tennis court and several fence rails had also been damaged and the driving range had multiple tire tracks. Damages were estimated to be over $2500.

LOCATION:         6608 Church Hill Road, Chestertown (QA)

VICTIM:              Brandon & Robin Kirsch of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:       Victims reported checking their rental unit at A Storage Depot Self Storage and found their unit unlocked with the lock missing. A check of the unit revealed that numerous items including two televisions, seven pairs of jeans, two notebook tablets, Coleman grills and an apartment size refrigerator had been removed. The items were valued at $3250.

LOCATION:         Bear Pond Road, Marydel (QA)

VICTIM:              Doris E. Williams of Dover

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim stated she had broken down and left her car, a white 2003 Lexus on the side of Bear Pond Road. Upon returning later the car had been spray painted, scratched and the rear window broken out. The interior had also been cut in several places. Damages were estimated over $10,000.

LOCATION:         1800 Block of Little Creek Road, Chester

VICTIM :             Lloyd Milbourne of Pasadena

 

NARRATIVE:       Father of the victim reported his son was missing numerous tools and equipment from a shed at a marina in Dominion. Among the items missing was a 15HP boat motor, 3 air compressors, a 12 foot ladder, a heavy duty lift and numerous hand and power tools. Estimated loss was $20,000 plus.

INCIDENT:          Domestic Assault

DATE / TIME:     11/04/2013 @ 1955 Hours

LOCATION:         300 Block of Rolphs Wharf Road, Chestertown (QA)

VICTIM:              John Braxton of Chestertown

ARREST:              Lanier Drew Braxton (54) of Chestertown

CHARGE:            Assault 2nd Degree

 

NARRATIVE:       Deputies responded to residence for a domestic assault between father and son. On arrival the suspect appeared to be agitated and admitted to assaulting his father. Mr. John Braxton had a visible bruise on his head and was complaining of right shoulder pain. Other family members reported Lanier striking his father in the head and pushing into a counter.

 

Lanier Braxton was placed under arrest and charged with Assault 2nd Degree. He was later held on a $15,000 bail by a District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT:          Burglary / Theft

DATE / TIME:     11/05/2013 @ 0730 Hours

LOCATION:         100 Block of Creston Road, Chestertown (QA)

VICTIM:              Joyce Prickett of Chestertown

 

NARRATIVE:       Victim reported she and her husband went to bed around midnight with the house and her car locked. This morning when they went downstairs they saw several items moved including keys, wallets and the doors to an entertainment center indicating someone had been in the house while they were sleeping.

 

Cash was missing from her wallet and her car keys were later located in her car, which was now unlocked.

 

Investigation of the incident remains open.
