INCIDENT: THEFT
DATE / TIME: 10/14/2016 @ 1452 Hours
LOCATION: Queenstown Outlets, Queenstown
DETAILS: Outlet Security reported a theft at Famous Footwear and possibly other stores and that the suspects, two African-American males with a young child had left in a red Lexus passenger vehicle and a possible Maryland tag number.
As deputies were responding to the Outlets, MdTA was also contacted to be on the lookout for the suspect vehicle, which soon had the car in sight. The investigating Deputy continued on to the Outlets with other units heading to the location of the stop by MdTA on RT 50 just beyond the Bay Dale exit.
Dfc. Jones confirmed that shoes were one of the items stolen and provided a description of the shoes and of a shopping bag used by the suspects. A search of the car resulted in finding numerous pairs of shoes, clothing, purses and sunglasses all with tags still attached. Further investigation indicated that some of the items were stolen from a stolen from a store in Annapolis.
Demetric Lenard Davis (27) of Randallstown, MD and Donnell Maurice Vannison (44) of Baltimore, MD were placed under arrest and returned to QA County where they were charged with Theft under $1000 with additional charges pending. The child was released to a family member.

INCIDENT: Search

LOCATION: Town of Queen Anne
DETAILS: Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the QA Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police Dive Team searched a stretch of the Tuckahoe River near the Queen Anne / Hillsboro area on Wednesday October 19th.
Detectives assigned to the 1992 Callahan murder investigation said the search which lasted about five hours was productive but declined to say what possible evidence was located.
