INCIDENT: Motor Vehicle Collision
DATE / TIME: 07/13/17 @ 0805 hours
LOCATION: 600 Block of Main Street Church Hill
DETAILS: Cpl. Bassaro responded to the area of the 600 blk of Main Street, Church Hill for a reported motor vehicle collision between a school bus and another commercial vehicle. No injuries were reported, property damage only. There were no passengers on the bus. Both vehicles were drivable and left the scene under power.

INCIDENT: Suspicious Circumstances
DATE AND TIME REPORTED: 7/13/17 @ 1007 hours
LOCATION: 200 block of Winward Cove Court Grasonville
NARRATIVE: Dfc. Jones responded to the 200 block of Winward Cove Court, Grasonville in reference to past suspicious circumstances. The complainant advised that found in the grass near her back porch was a note which read “Big guy, Miss you THuG”. The complainant advised since there has been other suspicious activity in the neighborhood recently she felt the need to report this note. A canvass of the neighborhood yielded negative results for anyone else who may have seen anything suspicious. There are no suspects at this time.

INCIDENT: Alledged Fraud Complaint
DATE / TIME: July 13, 2017 at 1330 hours
LOCATION: 700 Block of Kimberly Way Stevensville
DETAILS: Dfc Jones responded to the 700 block of Kimberly Way, Stevensville for a report of fraud. The victim advised his debit card information had been used to purchase plane tickets for a trip to London. The victim advised he last used his card on July 6, 2017 and everything was fine at that time. Investigation is ongoing.

INCIDENT: Abandoned Vehicle
DATE / TIME: July 13, 2017 at 1335 hours
LOCATION: Leager Road and Racetrack Road
DETAILS: Deputy Parker responded to the area of Leager Road and Racetrack road for an abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival Deputy Parker located a white 2001 Volkswagon passenger vehicle with no tags. The vehicle appeared to be abandoned and was left partially in the roadway. Fire department personnel had also been called to the scene for a small grass fire. The vehicle itself was not on fire whatsoever; however the grass in the area where the vehicle was had been on fire a short time previously. No one was in the area. The VIN of the vehicle came back as not registered. Due to these facts, the vehicle was towed.

INCIDENT: Hit and Run Motor Vehicle Accident
DATE / TIME: July 13, 2017 at 1650
LOCATION: Wye Mills Road, Wye Mills
DETAILS: Cpl. Bassaro responded to the 300 block of Wye Mills Road for a report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. Complainant advised that a blue passenger vehicle (no further description) struck a juvenile in the area and failed to stop. The juvenile was treated by EMS on scene. Investigation continuing
