INCIDENT:       Fatal MVA – Single Vehicle

DATE:              08/24/2013 @ 2050 Hours

LOCATION:      Carmichael Road, Queenstown

VICTIM:                       Gregory Jay Watkins (61) of Chester, MD

NARRATIVE:    2004 Chevrolet Blazer going south on Carmichael Road when it crossed the centerline and into the opposite shoulder. The vehicle then skidded across the roadway back across the centerline and into a ditch causing the vehicle to go airborne landing in a field where it then rolled over. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was taken to Queen Anne’s Emergency Room where he was pronounced deceased. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
