INCIDENT:           Possession of CDS

DATE / TIME:      10/14/2012 @ 1422 Hours

LOCATION:         RT 18 near Centreville

 

ARREST:               Adam Paul Scherl (40) of Queenstown

CHARGE:              Possession of CDS (Marijuana)

 

NARRATIVE:        Following a report of an intoxicated person on RT 18 near Centreville, deputies and Town Police responded. Locating the man just outside of the town, lying in the ditch. A female at the location advised she had attempted to get the man into her car but refused and continued walking in the roadway. When the deputy attempted to assist the man, a wooden smoking device with suspected marijuana residue was found. A search of his person also resulted in the seizure of a small container with suspected hash marijuana. After processing, Scherl was released by a District Court Commissioner.

VICTIM:               Female Student (16) of Stevensville

 

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that her IPod Touch was missing from her book bag and occurred sometime between 1st and 3rd periods. The IPod is described as an Apple 4th Generation IPod touch orange with Monster valued at $250.

INCIDENT:           Domestic Assault

DATE / TIME:      10/15/2012 @ 1300 Hours

LOCATION:         Creeks End Lane, Stevensville

VICTIM:               Male (48) of Stevensville

                              Female (50) of Stevensville

ARREST:               Pending

CHARGE:              Assault

 

NARRATIVE:        Deputies responded for a domestic assault and possible suicide attempt. Investigation indicated that the two were arguing over the TV cable, there was a physical occurrence in which things were thrown and a family dog then attacked the male. The female was upset and used glass from a broken window to cut her wrists.

 

The female was treated by EMS at the scene and then transported to Anne Arundel County Medical Center for treatment. Charges are pending.

LOCATION:         Park & Ride in Stevensville

NARRATIVE:        Citizen contacted the Sheriff’s Office and turned in a set of keys found on the ground at the Park & Ride. The owner can claim the keys by calling the Sheriff’s Office at (410) 758-0770.

LOCATION:         3500 Block of McGinnis Road, Millington

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that a tenant of a rental property she owns, had taken an aluminum fence down from the property and had sold it for scrap. The fence was valued at $3000. Charges are pending.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported that unknown person had poured used motor oil in his train air handler on the side of his house. Victim stated he had found the oil several days before but the unit continued to work until today. The damage was estimated at $2000.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported putting several hundred dollars in a jar in the kitchen on Sunday and two days later the cash was gone. Several persons had been in the house over that time.

NARRATIVE:        Victim reported using the bathroom at the location and left his black Apple I-Phone on the urinal. Upon returning a few minutes later he could not locate the phone which was valued at $400.

NARRATIVE:        Deputy Hartmetz responded to location after a caller reported a kids bicycle in the area abandoned. Deputy Hartmetz took custody of the bike and placed it into property at the Sheriff’s Office. The owner can claim the bike by calling the Sheriff’s Office at (410) 758-0770 and identifying it.
