INCIDENT: Death Investigation
DATE / TIME: 09/28/2017 @ 1524 hrs.

VICTIM: Male
DETAILS: On Thursday September 28, 2017 at approximately 1524 hrs., deputies from the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence for an unattended death. The circumstances surrounding the unattended death appeared to be suspicious in nature, and an investigation was initiated. After further investigation of the circumstances surrounding the unattended death, and upon receiving the opinion of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the incident is no longer deemed suspicious in nature.

INCIDENT: Theft over $1,000.
DATE / TIME: 10/3/17 at 6:47PM
LOCATION: 1200 blk Duhamel Corner Rd., Sudlersville, Md. 21668
DETAILS: QACSO units responded for the theft of a number of wheels from an open trailer. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller, who advised that on 10/3/17 at approx. 6:40PM, a suspicious woman in a red truck was seen leaving this property. The caller advised the following were items stolen: eight aluminum 4 lug wheels, valued at $1,000. Three Chevy S10 wheels, valued at $300. One 1998 Chevy 1500 wheel, valued at $40. Four aluminum 16” American Racing wheels, valued at $410. Two aluminum 16” dually American Racing wheels, valued at $250. Total value of $2,000. Anyone with info, contact QACSO.

INCIDENT: Police Info. (possible theft)

LOCATION: Adidas store, 120 Outlet Center Dr., Queenstown, Md. 21658
DETAILS: QACSO units responded to a possible theft/shoplifting complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the manager; She advised that there had been a group of possible shoplifting suspects inside the store. She had recognized the suspects from previous, unreported incidents. The suspects left the scene before deputies arrived. At this time, it is unknown what, if anything, was stolen as the security camera’s video was inaccessible, at this time. Further investigation will be conducted. Anyone with info, contact QACSO.

LOCATION: True Value 26 Kent Towne Market Chester, MD
DETAILS: Deputies responded to the True Value in regards to suspects stealing green containers belonging to the store from the rear of the building. The total value of the container’s is $575.00. The case is under investigation.

DATE / TIME: 10/03/2017 @ 1500hrs.
LOCATION: 400 Block of Calvert Road Stevensville, MD 21666
DETAILS: Deputy Myers responded to Calvert Road Stevensville, MD for a reported theft. Dep. Myers met with the victim who was doing construction work at the location who reported that the aluminum gutters were stolen from the property. The case is under investigation.

INCIDENT: Theft
DATE / TIME: 9/27/17 – 1141 hours
LOCATION: 4802 Main St. Grasonville Senior Center
DETAILS: On the date and time above Dep. Myers responded to the Grasonville Senior Center in reference to a past theft. An unknown black male entered the Center and removed 3 Sports Medals from the Recreation Room. The suspect then placed the metals around his neck and left the building. Active video cameras captured the suspect on recordings. The value of the metals is estimated at $10.00

INCIDENT: Stolen Tag
DATE / TIME: 10/2/17 – 0816 hours
LOCATION: 1800 block of Pondtown Rd. Millington
DETAILS: On the date and time above DFC Burns responded to Pondtown Rd in reference to a stolen vehicle registration plate. The plate was discovered missing on 10/2/17 – 0816 hours. The plate was originally affixed to a 2003 Chevy Impala displaying 370909. The tag has been entered into the NCIC system as stolen.

INCIDENT: Burglary, 2nd Degree
DATE / TIME: 10/4//17 at 1148 hrs
LOCATION: 2500 Blk of McGinnes Rd in Chestertown
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to a report of a past burglary. The burglary was of a detached garage that was found to be unlocked. The burglary was suspected to have occurred between 9/11/17 and 9/26/17. The items stolen included various items that included an Echo Weed trimmer and a tool chest. The value of the items was $1918.00. No suspects have been identified.

INCIDENT: Assault, 2nd Degree
DATE / TIME: 10/4//17 at 1548 hrs
LOCATION: 100 Blk of Marlin Ct of Centreville
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to a report of a past assault. Upon arrival it was discovered that the residence is a group home for special needs adults. One of the residents reported that he was allegedly assaulted by the house manager when he slammed the door in his face. Upon interviewing the house manager, he denied closing the door on anyone’s face. The house manager reported the resident shoved his shoulder while he was upset, but he did not feel threatened when it occurred. Both parties were referred to the District Court Commissioner.
