PRESS RELEASE

INCIDENT:         Theft under $1,000.00 / Trespass

DATE / TIME:    04/09/2018 approximately 4:00pm

LOCATION:       200 Block of Upland Lane, Centreville MD

VICTIM:             46yo Female of Centreville

SUSPECT:            Ramon Munoz, 20yo Male of Pasadena

DETAILS:                Deputies were dispatched to the 200 Block Upland Lane, Centreville MD, in reference to a Theft of a dog that had just occurred. It was learned that Deputies had spoken with the suspect, identified as Ramon Munoz, on the day prior. Munoz was instructed to contact a lawyer in reference to attaining the dog because at that point it was a Civil Matter. Munoz was also instructed not to go on the victim’s property. Deputies were informed that Munoz was witnessed leaving the victim’s property on today’s date, with the dog. Munoz was driving a gray in color, BMW 325I, with Maryland registration. Munoz then allegedly sent text messages to the victim indicating Munoz had the dog. The dog is described as a black in white, pit bull. The dog has an estimated worth of $500.00. The victim was given a case number and advised on how to press charges against Munoz with the District Court.

INCIDENT:                    CDS not Marijuana

DATE / TIME:                04/9/2018 approximately 11:00am

LOCATION:                   1800 Block of Main St., Chester MD

ARRESTED:                Jonica D. White, 22yo Female from Grasonville, MD

DETAILS:              Deputies were dispatched to the area of 1800 Block of Main St., Chester MD, in reference to a suspicious female who was requesting rides from passing vehicles. Upon arrival, that female was identified as Jonica White. A Consent Search was completed and items were located such as; 1 straw containing suspected controlled dangerous substance and a smoking device with suspected burnt Marijuana. Jonica admitted to Deputies that she used the straw to introduce a controlled dangerous substance into her body.  The straw will be sent off to the MSP lab for testing.

Jonica was placed under arrest and charged with:

  1. Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance
  2. Possession of Paraphernalia
  3. Civil Citation: Marijuana less than 10g

She was later released on her own recognizes by the District Court Commissioner.
