INCIDENT: Violation of Protective Order
DATE / TIME: 04/14/2018 approximately 3:00pm
LOCATION: 100 Block of W. Goldfinch Lane, Centreville MD
VICTIM: 33yo Female of Centreville
ARRESTED: Matthew E. Robey, 33yo Male of Centreville
DETAILS: Deputies were dispatched to the 100 Block West Goldfinch Lane, Centreville MD., in reference to a violation of a Protective Order. Information was relayed to responding Deputies that Matthew Robey had just violated the Protective Order that he was served approximately 25 minutes prior. Matthew was previously informed the ramifications if he were to violate the Protective Order and was given a copy of the Protective order which explained in detail the limitations of contact. Upon their arrival, Deputies witnessed Matthew in possession of a vehicle that was previously parked in the driveway, outside of the garage door. Matthew admitted to Deputies that he went back on the property to get the vehicle. Matthew was placed under arrest for Violation of Protective order and processed at the Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff according to protocol. Matthew was taken in front of the Queen Anne’s County Court Commissioner and subsequently released on his signature.

INCIDENT: Traffic Arrest: Driving Under the Influence

LOCATION: Route 301 S at Ruthsburg Rd, Centreville, MD 21617
ARREST: Judith Peter, W, F, Age 57 of Centreville, MD
DETAILS: A lookout was provided to deputies regarding a white Lexus SUV driving erratically in the area of Burton Air Dr and the town limits of Centreville. While actively patrolling, Dfc Prince spotted the vehicle in the area of 301 South at Ruthsburg Rd. Dep Prince attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. After following the vehicle for almost two miles with his lights and sirens activated, the vehicle finally came to a stop. The driver was identified as Judith Peter. The investigation determined the driver was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. She was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. . Ms. Judith Peter was transported to the QACSO for processing. She refused to participate in any tests. Several Maryland Uniform Citations were issued and the defendant was later released on signature.

LOCATION: Route 18 at Love Point Rd, Stevensville, MD 21617
DEFENDANT(S):
- Jermain L. Miles, B, M, Age 43 of Grasonville, MD
- Samantha R. Licata, W, F, Age 23 of Easton, MD
- Brian M. Collier, W, M, Age 24 of Stevensville, MD
DETAILS: Deputy Bush was conducting routine patrol in the area of Stevensville. Deputy Bush then witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction. Deputy Bush detained one of the suspicious involved person later identified as Brian Collier. Deputy Bush also provided a lookout for the other involved vehicle. Sergeant Hampton located the vehicle in the area of Grasonville a few minutes later. Investigations resulted in locating drugs on all of the parties. Dep Bush’s investigation revealed that Jermain Miles was dealing Controlled dangerous substance. He was being driven by Samantha Licata. Mr. Collier had just purchased drugs from Mr. Miles when he was stopped by Dep Bush. All were arrested and transported to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office for processing. They were later taken before a Queen Anne’s County District Court Commissioner. Samantha Licata and Brian Collier were released on signature. Jermain Miles was held without bond and transported to the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center.

INCIDENT: Fraud

VICTIM: Chesapeake College 1000 College Circle Queenstown, MD 21658
DETAILS: A/Cpl. Sewell responded to the Chesapeake College to meet with a staff member of the Financial Services Division. A/Cpl. Sewell was advised that someone had made fraudulent checks with the college’s account number and deposited the checks into an out of state bank. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Office of the Sheriff for Queen Anne’s County and ask to speak with A/Cpl. Sewell.
