INCIDENT: ASSAULT
DATE / TIME: 05/08/13 @ 1935 Hours
LOCATION: 2111 Main Street, Chester, MD.
VICTIM: Margarita S. Brito-Cardenas of Chester
ARREST: Diego Geovanne Ramon (33) of Chester
CHARGE: Assault 2nd Degree
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to residence after two 911 calls were received and yelling could be heard in the background. On arrival they met with Diego Ramon who stated he and his girlfriend were arguing and that she had thrown a plate of food at him and then left. While speaking to Ramon, a female (Margarita Brito-Cardenas) returned and had visable injuries to her face (scratches on cheek, cuts on lip and nose). Thru translation advised she had fixed dinner for her and their two children and when Ramon arrived home, he was angry over his dinner not being ready and threw her plate of food. She ran to a bedroom and called 911. Allegedly Ramon came into the bedroom, hung the phone up and punched her in the face.
Diego Ramon was placed under arrest for domestic battery and processed at Sheriff’s Headquarters. A District Court Commissioner held Ramon on a $15,000 bond. ICE was also contacted and immigration charges are pending.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported that upon evicting a family from a rental property, two juvenile males then began to break windows at the residence. Damage was estimated at $50. Both juveniles were referred to Juvenile Justice and released to a parent.

INCIDENT: BURGLARY

LOCATION: 4H Park, Dulin Clark Road, Centreville
VICTIM: QA Co. Parks & Rec / Dennis Starkey of Queen Anne
NARRATIVE: Victim discovered the concession stand at the 4H park had been burglarized. The building, owned by QA was damaged. Contents of the concession stand, property of Dennis Starkey were also taken including candy and several cases of Gatorade. Damages and loss was estimated at $600.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported her rear license plate was discovered missing from her 2005 Ford. Tag number is M 492047

INCIDENT: BURGLARY

LOCATION: 500 Block of Mason Branch Road, Queen Anne
VICTIM: Michael Upham of Queen Anne
NARRATIVE: Victim reported he had been away for a few weeks and upon returning home, discovered someone had broken in and damaged several walls and a wall lamp. Several plastic coin containers and a brown felt Resistol cowboy hat were found missing. Damages were estimated at $300 and items taken at under $200.

NARRATIVE: Boys bicycle recovered at location. Citizen advised the bike had been there for about a week. To claim the bike, contact the QA Sheriff’s Office at (410) 758-0770

LOCATION: Sonny Schultz Blvd, Stevensville
VICTIM: Eastern Shore Construction Company
NARRATIVE: Foreman at the construction site advised the evening before there was a pallet of steel product used to secure concrete foundation. This morning when they arrived most of the steel was missing. The steel was valued at $300.
