DATE / TIME: 5/16/2016
LOCATION: Ingleside, MD
DETAILS: Victim reported receiving a friend request on Facebook from a female not known to him, but listed a mutual friend and accepted the invite. The two began to message each other with the new female friend advising she had recently separated from her boyfriend. After a lengthy messaging session, the two switched to Skype where the female appeared in a bed naked. The female then requested the victim to make a video of himself exposing his private area.
The victim complied and then began to receive Facebook messages demanding $5000 to delete the video or it would be posted on YouTube and failure to pay would result in his “friends” being sent a link to the video. According to the victim he did not pay any money and the video was in fact placed on YouTube but has since been removed.
