INCIDENT:               Fugitive Arrest

DATE / TIME:          8/14/2018 at approximately 11:45 am

LOCATION:             100 Block of Pine Ridge Court in Church Hill, MD

ARREST:                   George Thomas III, 32yo male from Millington, MD

DETAILS:                 Deputies received a call from Delaware State Police (DSP) regarding two wanted individuals who were believed to be in the Church Hill area. According to DSP, the two individuals was George Thomas III and Destiny Thomas. Once in the Church Hill area, deputies received an anonymous tip that the individuals were at the 100 Block of Pine Ridge Court. Deputies met with the homeowner, who advised that neither individual was there. While talking with the homeowner, one of the deputies witnessed a white male running from the residence. A foot pursuit ensued. After a brief chase, deputies were able to locate the male, identified as George Thomas III. Thomas was charged with a fugitive warrant on behalf of the Delaware State Police. INCIDENT:               Burglary

DATE / TIME:         8/12/2018 at approximately 11:23 am

LOCATION:             100 Block of Joyce Lane in Stevensville, MD

VICTIM:                   59yo female from Stevensville, MD

DETAILS:               Deputy Barlow responded to the above address in reference to a burglary. The realtor of the home advised that she saw a young white male in the backyard of the residence. She also noticed the door to the residence was opened. Deputies searched the area and were unable to locate the male. This investigation is ongoing. INCIDENT:               Theft

DATE / TIME:         8/14/2018 at approximately 1:49 pm

LOCATION:             600 Block of Old Love Point Road in Stevensville, MD

VICTIM:                   79yo female from Stevensville, MD

DETAILS:                 Deputy First Class (DFC) Pack responded to the above location in reference to a theft. The victim stated that sometime during the overnight hours, her trash can was stolen from the side of her residence. The trash can is described as dark green with the writing “Chesapeake Waste” on both sides. A replacement trash can is estimated to be $100. This investigation is ongoing. INCIDENT:             Malicious Destruction of Property (MDOP)

DATE / TIME:         8/14/18 at approximately 7:04 pm

LOCATION:             100 Block of Chesapeake Bay Drive in Stevensville, MD

VICTIM:                   47yo male from Stevensville, MD

DETAILS:                 Deputy Sackrider responded to the above address in reference to a malicious destruction of property. The victim advised that, sometime on August 13th between 5:15 pm and 10 pm, his mailbox was damaged. According to the victim, an unknown individual took tree branches, which the victim discarded in a vacant lot, and put them in front of the victim’s mailbox. The branches caused minor damage to the mailbox. The damaged is estimated to be $50. This investigation is still ongoing.
