INCIDENT:         Suspicious activity

DATE / TIME:     08/17/2017 approximately 0920 hours

LOCATION:       Mallard Drive, Centreville MD

 

COMPLAINANT:  Lisa Parker, 55yo female of Centreville MD

 

DETAILS:       The complainant indicated that she witnessed 2 vehicles that did not belong in the development to be completing suspicious activity. The next morning, while walking her dog, the complainant located items on the side of the road that could be associated with CDS. The items and information were passed along to the Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force.

INCIDENT:          Theft under 1,000

DATE / TIME:     8/17/17 at 11:46AM

LOCATION:        500 blk Main Street, Churchill, Md. 21623

DETAILS:      QACSO units responded for a theft complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller, Karl Zierfuss, who advised that four Hurricane car rims with tires mounted on them had been stolen. The wheels/tires were stolen by unknown suspect(s) on 8/13/17 at approx. 5:00PM. The wheels with tires are valued at $600. Anyone with info., please contact QACSO.

INCIDENT:       Update to Theft of a Trailer

DATE / TIME:     8/17/17 at approx. 3:00PM

LOCATION:        5000 blk Main Street, Grasonville

DETAILS:       QACSO units responded to Main Street, Grasonville, Md for the report that a previously reported stolen trailer had been located. The deputy arrived on scene and located a 2014 Carr trailer, black in color with the same VIN as the one previously reported stolen on 8/15/17 through QACSO. Contact was made with the owner and the trailer was released to him. The license plate to that trailer has not been located at this time. This case is still an active investigation.

INCIDENT:      Possession of Marijuana less than 10 grams

DATE / TIME:   8/16/2017 @ 2040hrs.

LOCATION:    Rt. 213 @ John Powell Road Church Hill

DETAILS:  While working a radar assignment, deputies performed a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet truck with an inoperable headlamp and while speaking with one of the occupants, he pulled out a baggie with a small amount of marijuana.  Upon searching the vehicle a glass smoking device was also located.  He was charged on a civil citation for possession of marijuana under 10 grams and released.

INCIDENT:     Theft from motor vehicles ( UPDATE)

DATE / TIME:     8/8/2017 @ 0853

LOCATION:    Watson Road Centreville, MD

DETAILS:   On 8/8/2017 deputies took a report for several vehicles being broken into and change and other miscellaneous items being stolen from the vehicles.  There were a total of 10 victims in the area of Watson Road, Spaniard Neck Road, and Dove Lane Centreville, MD.  On 8/18/2017 Centreville Police were called for a theft in progress and was able to apprehend a 17 year old w/m from Centreville that was involved in the theft.  Dfc. Martz responded to Centreville Police where the suspect confessed to the theft from vehicles on Watson road.  A juvenile referral was completed, charging the juvenile with 10 counts of theft and 10 counts Rogue and Vagabond.
