INCIDENT: Theft

LOCATION: North County Area near Sudlersville

ARREST: Male (20) of Grasonville

NARRATIVE: County Roads Department had been contacted by an electric company employee who advised he had seen several road signs behind a residence on Everett Road. Dfc. Kellogg responded and located two stop signs and five road signs, Duhamel Corner Road (2), Busic Church Road (2) and Peters Corner Road (1).
While at the location, a resident of the home arrived and admitted that along with another subject, they had taken the signs when they were drunk one night.
Applications for charges for both suspects have been submitted to the District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT: CDS POSSESSION
DATE/TIME: 05/03/2012 @ 1630 Hours
LOCATION: RT 8 near Tavakoli Farm Lane, Stevensville
ARREST: Nicholas Rexford Reinheimer (18) of Stevensville
CHARGE: Possession of CDS (Marijuana), Possession of CDS (Marijuana with intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS Paraphernalia (3 Counts)
NARRATIVE: Dfc. Jordan stopped a gold Ford station wagon for speeding. In addition to the driver, there were two passengers in the car. After issuance of a traffic citation to the driver, the driver consented to a search of the car and the two passengers were asked to exit the car. During this time, Dfc. Jordan reports the smell of marijuana on one of the passengers, later identified as Nicholas Reinheimer. A search resulted in the seizure of several baggies of suspected marijuana (estimated six grams), a digital scale, a small zip lock bag with suspected hash and several empty zip lock baggies. As a result Reinheimer was placed under arrest and charged with Possession and possession with intent. After an initial appearance, a District Court Commissioner held him on a $10,000 bail. After being held in the Detention Center, Reinheimer posted bail via Bail Bondsman.

INCIDENT: Burglary
DATE/TIME: 05/04/2012 @ 0445 Hours
LOCATION: Fisher Manor Apartments, Grasonville
VICTIM: Barbara A. Brown of Grasonville
ARREST: Isaac O’Neil Pierce (27) of Dover, DE.
CHARGE: Burglary 1st Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree, Burglary 3rd Degree, MDOP
NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to location after the victim called reporting a former boyfriend attempting to gain entry into her residence thru a window. On arrival Deputy Harris located a subject in a blue 4-door sedan. The subject was asked to step out of the car and suspect advised he had a taser and mace in his pocket. Suspect gave a name of Nasir O. Price and advised he was attempting to get a television from the residence. The victim identified the suspect as Isaac Pierce and that she had told him to leave several times, that he refused to and had removed a screen from a window. Victim also stated Pierce had threatened to hurt her if she called police.
Suspect was placed under arrest and a search of his car resulted in the seizure of a folding knife, a Remington pump shotgun, a Remington .22 Rifle and 15 rounds of shotgun shells and over 150 rounds of .22 hollow point bullets. A record check showed three open warrants for the subject in Dover Delaware however they will not extradite him.
Pierce was transported to Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for processing and at an initial appearance held on a $10,000, which was posted later in the day by a Bail Bondsman.

INCIDENT: Burglary

LOCATION: Tilghman Neck Road, Centreville
VICTIM: John F. Harper of Centreville
NARRATIVE: Friends of the victim reported finding a cable across the driveway to an old house was down. Further check of the building showed someone had cut some wiring off of the house and had taken a water pump. Items were valued at $150.

LOCATION: 1011 Peters Corner Road, Sudlersville
VICTIM: Holden’s Chapel
NARRATIVE: Kenneth Embert, the church administrator reported that someone had taken two outside AC Units from the church. The units were valued at $9,000. A possible suspect vehicle was seen at the church on May 1st at about 5 AM – a 1987-1988 gray Chevrolet pickup with Maryland tags.

NARRATIVE: It was reported that a duck blind had been vandalized with a hole in the floor and graffiti on the wall. Damages were estimated at $250.

VICTIM: Female (46) of Preston
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to location for a report of a female taking two handfuls of prescription medication. She was transported to Chester River Medical Center for treatment.

LOCATION: Wells Cove Road, Grasonville
VICTIM: Donald S. Saunders Jr. of Chester
NARRATIVE: Victim advised he asleep on his 44 Ft. Carver Cabin Cruiser moored at one of the slips when he was awakened by some strange noises. When he got up to investigate he discovered two strangers on the boat. When he yelled to them one ran down the dock and the other jumped over board and swam to the shore and both fled towards the Hilton Inn area. A search of the area failed to locate the suspects and nothing was reported damaged or missing.

INCIDENT: MDOP
DATE/TIME: 5/5/2012 @ 1024 Hours (Reported)
LOCATION: 900 Love Point Road, Stevensville
VICTIM: Kent Island High School
NARRATIVE: School personnel discovered that the entrance sign to Kent Island High School had been vandalized. Damage included “QA” spray painted in green on both sides of the sign. In addition the sign had been shot with a shotgun using a slug and birdshot. Damage to the sign was estimated at over $1000.
A nearby resident advised that he heard gunshots at around 2115 hours on the evening of the 4th but thought it was fireworks somewhere in the community. At this time the investigation is unsure if the incident is related to a baseball loss earlier in the day, to the KIHS Prom held on the 5th or a random act.
