NARRATIVE: Victim reported that his bicycle, a green and silver Timberline 21 Speed Mountain Bike was missing from the rear of his residence. The bike was last seen there on Saturday the 24th and is valued at $331.

INCIDENT: Assault

NARRATIVE: Deputies were dispatched to location reference to a fight on a School Bus. Upon arrival A/Cpl. Brockman was advised by the bus driver that while driving he had heard yelling and saw the two girls standing in the aisle. When they ignored him to sit down, the girls began to fight. The driver had to stop the bus and break-up the altercation.
Both girls have been referred to Juvenile Services for assault and school administration has removed the girls from riding the bus at this time.

INCIDENT: Medical Emergency / Assault
REPORT DATE / TIME: 09/26/2011 @ 1650 Hours
LOCATION: 100 Block ofTalbot Road, Stevensville
VICTIM: Male (59) of Stevensville
NARRATIVE: Deputy Kellogg and MSP Tpr. Reuter responded to a reported assault at the residence. On arrival they met with a female subject who reported her brother had been drinking and made threats to harm her. He was also reported to be throwing objects at her. While Trooper Reuter was struck by the male subject while talking with him The male subject was taken into custody without further incident and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

INCIDENT: Assault 1st Degree
REPORT DATE / TIME: 09/26/2011 @ 2126 Hours
LOCATION: 1120 Spaniard Neck Road, Centreville
VICTIM: Charles G. Miller Sr. of Centreville

ARREST: Carolyn Chew Butler (45) of Centreville
NARRATIVE: Sgt. Meyers responded to the location for a reported assault. The victim, Charles Miller advised he and Ms. Butler had an argument and he attempted to leave the residence, whenButler threw a rubber mallet at his car striking the driver’s door. Miller advised he stopped at exited the car to see what damage had occurred (scratch & dent). While looking at the damage,Butler allegedly grabbed his hand, scratching his right thumb and causing it to bleed. Ms. Butler then left the residence in her vehicle.
While talking with the victim, the suspect (Butler) returned, slowing down near the markedSheriff’s Vehicle. Sgt. Meyers began to walk towards Ms. Butler’s vehicle when she accelerated towards him in such a way he had to jump out of the pathway to avoid being struck. Ms. Butler continued on the lane until reaching the residence, Sgt. Meyers who had followed her in his vehicle with his emergency lights on. When Ms. Butler exited her vehicle she continued towards the house ignoring Sgt. Meyers request to stop. With the assistance of Officer Lewis (CPD), Ms. Butler was arrested without further incident.
The victim (Miller) went before a District Court Commissioner and requested an Interim Protection Order which was issued and served to Ms. Butler.
Ms. Butler was charged with 1st Degree Assault, 2nd Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment. She was later released on her own recognizance by a District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT: Domestic Argument
REPORT DATE / TIME: 09/27/2011 @ 0050 Hours
LOCATION: 300 Block ofTalbot Road, Queenstown
NARRATIVE: Deputies were called to a residence onDel Rhodes Avenue to a reported domestic. The female caller advised she and her boyfriend were arguing and when he refused to leave she called 911 at which time the male half had fled the location. There were no injuries and no further action was requested.

NARRATIVE: Sheriff’s Units responded to location for a report of a suicidal subject near the roadway. On arrival, the subject was located at a church nearby. The subject advised that he was upset over a relationship and as he started to walk into traffic thought of his child and called 911. He was transported toAnneArundelMedicalCenter for treatment.

INCIDENT: Theft of a Boat Motor
REPORT DATE / TIME: 09/27/2011 @ 1301 Hours
LOCATION: 100 Block ofBeach Harbor Drive, Grasonville
VICTIM: Harry Rivell of Cape Charles, Va.
NARRATIVE: Victim reported that his 1996 25 HP Evinrude boat motor was missing from his boat located atBeachHarbor. The motor is valued at $2500. He had last been at the residence 2 to 3 weeks ago and the motor was there at that time.
Security at the location advised that on September 12th two male subjects had been observed removing the motor. When asked, the two white males provided names and advised they were removing the motor for their father who lived at a nearby residence.
Investigation remains open.

REPORT DATE / TIME: 09/27/2011 @ 2026 Hours
LOCATION: 4000 Block ofMain Street of Grasonville
NARRATIVE: Sheriff’s Units responded to the residence for a domestic in progress. On arrival, the two subjects, Husband and Wife, both claimed being assaulted by the other, however no injuries were readily noticeable. Both subjects were advised of the procedures to pursue criminal charges and/or a Protection Order. The male subject had moved out several days prior and left the residence on his own accord.
