Incident: Search and Seizure warrant

Location: 102 Price Street Centreville, Queen Anne’s County, Maryland
Suspect: Donald Eugene Farris, W/M, 44 years old
CDS Seized: 38 Marijuana Plants
25 Oxycodone pills
2791.00 grams of processed marijuana
Synopsis: On 08/16/17 at approximately 0445 hours the Queen Anne’s County Drug Task Force, assisted by the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Team, members of the Centreville Police Department and a uniformed Deputy from the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office served a knock and announce search warrant at 102 Price Street Centreville, MD. The primary suspect, Donald Eugene Farris was at home when the warrant was served.
A search of the residence revealed an upstairs bedroom converted into a marijuana manufacturing operation that contained 38 actively growing marijuana plants. A search of the remainder of the residence revealed approximately 2791.00 grams of processed marijuana and 25 Oxycodone pills, packaged for retail sale.
The processed marijuana has an approximate value in Queen Anne’s County of $10.00 dollars a gram, the actively growing marijuana plants will yield approximately $1,000.00 worth of marijuana each and the Oxycodone pills have a street value of approximately $250.00 giving a total value of the drugs seized from Farris a street value of approximately $66,160.00.
Farris, who has a lengthy criminal history for armed robbery, felony controlled dangerous substance violations, and assault is being charged with Possession of Oxycodone with the intent to distribute, Possession of Oxycodone, Manufacturing Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia. Farris was held on no bond.

INCIDENT: Suspicion Persons Investigation leads to CDS Arrest
DATE AND TIME REPORTED: August 16, 2017 at 0251 hours.
LOCATION: South Piney Creek Road behind Red Apple Plaza, Chester
VICTIM: State of Maryland
NARRATIVE: On the above date and time, Dfc. Piasecki was patrolling local businesses when he observed two suspicious males behind Red Apple Plaza. Dfc. Piasecki stopped the two males and began inquiring why they were behind the stores. Both males were identified and wanted checks for outstanding warrants were checked. One black male was found to have an outstanding District Court Warrant issued to the Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack. The male was placed under arrest and during a search the male was found to be in possession of less than ten grams of marijuana. The male was transported to the Office of the Sheriff for processing and was later held by the District Court Commissioner.

INCIDENT: Theft of Vehicle Trailer
DATE/TIME LOCATION: 8/15/17 between 1000-1100 hrs
LOCATION: 116 Watkins Rd, Queenstown, MD
Victim: Thomas Bowen, 62 Queenstown, Md
DETAILS: Victim reported that on today’s date between 1000-1100 hrs his black, 2014 Carr, Trailer was stolen. The trailer was bearing a Maryland registration of 099752X. He described the suspects as a heavy built Hispanic or a light skinned African American male. The suspect was traveling in a white SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Chevrolet Blazer.

INCIDENT: Suspicious Persons Investigation leads to CDS Arrest

LOCATION: Park and Ride, Route 18 near Route 50, Stevensville Maryland
VICTIM: State of Maryland
NARRATIVE: On the above date and time, Deputy P. Sackrider was patrolling local businesses when he observed a suspicious vehicle occupied by two males and a female. Deputy began to investigate and asked for identification of the people inside. K-9 Deputy First Class Piasecki responded to assist and a scan of the vehicle was performed. A positive alert for the possibility of CDS was given and a probable cause search was completed. Several items were found inside the vehicle and were seized. The suspect was arrested and released to his parents pending a Juvenile Services review.
